Director of the ACCM, Prof Bruce Henry, is the Head of the School of Mathematics and Statistics.

David Shteinman is a professional engineer and industrial entrepreneur with 25 years’ experience in manufacturing, mineral processing and the commercial applications of industrial mathematics and statistics. David was the Industry Projects manager of The Australian Research Council’s Centre of Excellence for Mathematics and Statistics of Complex Systems (MASCOS).

Andrei holds a PhD from Lomonosov Moscow State University in Mathematics, and specialised in Approximation Theory under the late Prof Sergey Stechkin's supervision. Prior to this, he graduated with the high distinction Summa Cum Laude. Andrei has published over 30 papers in international peer-reviewed journals. His research also includes applications of mathematics to Finance and Investments - in particular, Investment Performance Measurement, Alternative Investments and Wealth Management.

Roy is an applied statistician and developer of statistical software solutions with a broad range of experience in the manufacturing, biotechnology, transport and energy sectors. Roy has over 12 years' experience working in Engineering and Scientific consulting roles. Roy holds an MSc and BSc (Hons 1) from UNSW.

Ian completed his Bachelor of Advanced Science at UNSW, and was awarded Upper Second Class Honours for his work in geophysical fluid transport under A/Prof Mark Holzer. His areas of study include dynamical systems, applied statistics and computational mathematics, applied to ocean transport and traffic problems. He hopes to pursue further research in these fields in his Masters.

April is accountable for the Centre’s administration and bookkeeping duties, and has over seven years’ experience working in accounting and administration roles. April holds a Grad Dip in Professional Accounting and recently obtained a Master in Accounting.

Maggie obtained her BSc (Hons 2A) at UNSW after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Mathematics and Statistics from University of Sydney. Her Honours thesis is concerned with models and diagnostic methods for time series of counts, under the co-supervision of Prof William Dunsmuir and Dr Feng Chen.
