Course Overview

Longitudinal data arise when multiple measurements of a response are collected over time for each individual in the study. The aim of this course is to introduce the main statistical concepts, methods and models used in the analysis of longitudinal data. Topics include exploratory data analysis; fixed, random and mixed effects linear models; generalised linear models; diagnostics and model checking; and missing data and non-response issues. Applications to medical and biological sciences are used throughout.
