Help for Undergraduate Students

The University provides assistance to students in many ways. Check the Student A-Z guide for more information.

In addition, the School of Mathematics and Statistics provides help on matters associated with its courses and programs.

The links below are to commonly required sources of help. Please also see Frequently Asked Questions, which covers important course and enrolment information for undergraduate students. If you have any other queries related to your studies, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I failed a course! What can I do?

If you receive a final mark of 45 - 49 in a MATH course, then you are automatically entitled to sit the additional assessment exam. We will not contact you about it: you should find out when the additional assessment exam will take place, and just show up. Read about the School's Additional Assessment policy (scroll down to point 3). The timetable for Semester 2 will be available here when available.
