This four-day workshop will address current developments in the field of set-oriented numerical techniques relevant to mathematical problems in dynamical systems and applications.
It will provide a unique forum to bring together theoretical researchers developing different set-oriented methodologies and applied researchers needing topological and probabilistic descriptions of their models. The workshop will cover a wide range of application areas, including, but not limited to: models of fluid flow, advection-reaction-diffusion equations, biology, drug design, quasi-stationary stochastic processes, nonlinear time-series analysis, dynamics of granular material, physical oceanography and meteorology.
