Admission

Applications for admission to UNSW as a graduate student are accepted all year round. Students applying for admission to coursework degrees should apply on-line by 30th November for Semester 1 commencements (in March) or the middle of may for Semester 2. In most cases depending on quota late applications will be accepted

Entry to the courses is on the recommendation of the Head of School or nominee (in practice the Pg Co-ordinator in Postgraduate Coursework Studies in Mathematics and Statistics); due consideration is given to all aspects of each applicant's undergraduate, graduate, and professional background. The UNSW On-Line Handbook here has information about admission requirements for the different coursework programs.
