Q: How do I find out what courses are offered next year?
A: Around the end of this year, a list of courses which are to be offered next year will be posted on the web here.

Q: How do I decide what program to take? How do I decide which courses I should take?
A: First, read the description of the postgraduate programs offered at the School. Also read the descriptions of each course covered in the programs. If you need help to decide which program or courses to take, you can contact one of the following people:

  • If you are doing a Graduate Diploma in Physical Oceanography then your program coordinator is Dr John Middleton.
  • For all other Master programs courses, your program coordinator isDr Donna Salopek .
Q: How do I find a supervisor for my project?
A: You should start by looking at the research pages for a list of the main research areas of the school. If you find a staff member with interests that appeal to you, you can contact that staff member directly. If you need some more help or advice, contact the Director of Postgraduate Studies. But remember, you do not need to decide on a project or supervisor until partway through Session 1.
