Qualifying Programs for Postgraduate Coursework Students

Students whose academic backgrounds do not equip them to enter the course of their choice directly may be required to take a qualifying program. Typically, this consists of studying some advanced undergraduate, honours or masters courses for a period of one or two semesters. Admission to the subsequent degree is contingent upon successful completion of the prescribed program. The content of the qualifying program depends on the individual student and is decided after consultation with the School's Postgraduate Coordinator.
