Application and Fee Information for Postgraduate Research Students

Admission

Applications for admission to UNSW as a graduate student are accepted all year round. There are no cut-off dates for students applying for entry to research degrees (MSc or PhD), but there are strict closing dates for scholarship applications.

We recommend that you find a potential supervisor at the school before submitting your application. For information about the research programs available, please refer to the school Research Areas webpage. Alternatively, you can contact the Director of Postgraduate Studies (pg.MathsStats@maths.unsw.edu.au).

The application for entry to a research degree (MSc or PhD) requires an outline of your research topic. Both local and international students can save money by applying on line.

Full/part time Studies

Studies may be undertaken either full or part-time. External study is also possible, provided adequate supervisory arrangements can be made.

Fees
