Pure Seminar Group actions on non-locally finite graphs Title:Group actions on non-locally finite graphs Date:Tuesday 21st September 2004 Time:2:00 pm Venue: RC-3084, The Red Centre, UNSW We begin with the example of the Cayley graph of the integers with respect to an infinite set of generators. What can we say about the global structure of this graph? This question motivates the concept of metric end topologies and directions of groups acting on non-locally finite graphs. Some general results of this theory are discussed. |
