The broad topic of Complexity has been of growing interest to Defence in a number of its manifestations. This seminar will briefly explore the ways complexity theory formalisms are relevant to Defence issues. The issue of modelling of combat within this paradigm will be discussed in more depth with the intention of initiating specific lines of research.
