Proper Actions in Complex Geometry A/Prof. Alexander Isaev is an internationally recognised mathematician, the creator of two courses in Bioinformatics and the author of two books published by Springer-Verlag: Introduction to mathematical methods in bioinformatics, Universitext, 2004, 2006 (2nd ed.) and Lectures on the Automorphism Groups of Kobayashi-Hyperbolic Manifolds, Lect. Notes in Math. v.~1902, 2007. He has also coauthored with Prof. Steven Krantz a feature article in Notices of AMS and a related survey.
