An ARC Linkage Grant has funded research in which a group in the School of Mathematics and Statistics led by Scientia Professor Ian Sloan is collaborating with Macquarie Bank's Quantitative Applications Division. The research is investigating the use of quasimontecarlo methods in valuing complex financial products, where there is a need to evaluate high-dimensional integrals.
