The 3rd Workshop on High-Dimensional Approximation will be held at the School of Mathematics & Statistics of the University of New South Wales, Sydney from February 16–20, 2009.

The two previous workshops were held at the Australian National University. They were originally organised to have a productive collaboration amongst the research groups of Markus Hegland and Ian Sloan. Since the interest in this topic is steadily growing, the workshop is enlarging its horizons as well.
