Rooms and Amenities
- The Staff Common Room, located in Room 3083, contains a fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, boiling water for tea and coffee, and a toaster. Milk, coffee, and tea are provided for staff and their visitors, and there is a special morning tea every Wednesday between 10:45 and 11:15 (biscuits provided).
- Small Kitchens are located on levels 2, 4, 5 & 6, with boiling water for tea and coffee, and fridges.
- Cold filtered drinking water is available on level 3 for staff and students. If it is empty, please refill it with tap water from the Common Room. (Ask the School Office for instructions.)
- The Mailroom is located on level 3, and has pigeonholes for all staff, visitors, honours and, postgraduate students, as well as a photocopier, shredder, printer, heavy-duty stapler, and guillotine.
- The Committee Room, RC-3078, is on level 3. Bookings are made through Amber Tye in the School Office on level 3.
- The School Library is located in RC 2077 and contains some thesis and mathematics journals. However, most mathematics material is available in the main library. The T. Foster Fluid Dynamics Library, located in RC-4080, contains fluids, oceanography and meteorology journals that were donated to the School by Ted Foster.
Printers & Photocopiers
Photocopiers and printers are available in the print rooms on levels 2, 4, 5 and 6, as well as in the mailroom on level 3. There is a colour photocopier/printer in the print room on level 2. To use the photocopiers, you will need to obtain a code from the School Office. Please report any malfunctions or paper jams to the School Office (or the closest administrative assistant.)
