The Department of Statistics at UNSW is one of the most dynamic in Australia. Consisting of 15 full time academic members of staff, including 2 full professors, the Department provides expertise in a wide range of activities including research, teaching, consulting and the organisation of technical workshops.

The department encompasses a broad range of research interests, supporting a variety of options for postgraduate and postdoctoral research. Popular weekly seminars and a friendly working atmosphere make UNSW an unrivalled working environment.

Taught undergraduate degrees and a range of Masters courses are available, some with scholorship support, designed to take advantage of the demands of the modern statistical workplace.
