Honours Study Students who have done well in the first three years of a BSc (or double degree) program in Mathematics are encouraged to complete a 4th `Honours' year for their degree. Completion of an Honours year is highly valued by employers as well as being a prerequisite for postgraduate study in Mathematics. The Honours year consists of a mixture of advanced courses and a supervised research thesis. It is possible for students who have completed a good BSc elsewhere to transfer to UNSW to undertake the Honours year here. For all the details about the honours year, see the links below. |
