Student Support Scheme

The Student Support Scheme is a teaching and learning project of the School of Mathematics and Statistics.

It is a drop-in centre service for first and second year students currently studying at UNSW.

FREE TUITION!

SSS provides free one-on-one tutoring for struggling students.

Courses Offered in Semester 2 2009

The SSS is open to all students studying the following courses and parts of courses:

  • MATH 1011
  • MATH 1041
  • MATH 1131
  • MATH 1231
  • MATH 2019 Engineering Maths 2E
  • Engineering Statistics strands for MATH 2089, MATH 2099, MATH 2859, CVEN 2002 and CVEN 2702
Venue

The SSS is located in room 3064 of the Red Centre. It is located to the left of the main office on the third floor of the centre wing.

Opening Hours

During Semester 2, 2009, SSS will be open from Week 2 to STUVAV. The individual times for each course can be viewed at SSS Schedule S2 2009.

SSS Tutors

All tutors are mathematics students at UNSW (in third year or higher) and are required to meet certain criteria before being allowed to become tutors.
