Course Overview

This course introduces high dimensional numerical integration in the modern language of reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces. The basic notion of Quasi-Monte Carlo rules and integration error will be introduced and the connection with point distribution over the high dimensional unit cube will be analysed. The course focuses on theoretical aspects and uses techniques from Calculus and Algebra.
