In brief, the requirements for the BSc/BEd in Mathematics are as follows:

60 units of credit in Mathematics. (For students commencing prior to 2004 this is 72 units of credit.) These Mathematics courses must be chosen so as to fulfill the requirements for a Mathematics Major in the Science degree program 3970 (as listed below) and include the courses MATH3650 History of Mathematics and MATH3570 Foundations of Calculus and 6uoc of Geometry or Topology.
At least 6 units of credit of computing courses, which can be taken from a variety of schools in the university, including Mathematics and Statistics
78 units of credit in Education, including 48 units of credit in the fourth year.
The balance of 192 units of credit may be taken from courses offered by any school that offers either a major or minor in Science.
