Lunch to celebrate the inaugural International Women in Maths Day

Thursday, 16 May 2019 - 12:30pm to 2:00pm

Room 3082, Red Centre (Centre Wing), UNSW School of Mathematics and Statistics

This May the world will celebrate the inaugural International Women in Mathematics Day.

The celebration aims to honour the birthday of the late Maryam Mirzakhani and aspires to advance the achievements of female mathematicians all over the world.

To celebrate this day, and the work of female mathematicians at UNSW, we would like to invite you to join us for lunch on Thursday 16 May - ALL WELCOME!

We will screen a short film highlighting the journeys of some women in Mathematics, and invite you to come along and meet some of your fellow female mathematicians from both the School of Mathematics and Statistics, and other faculties at UNSW.
