Adelle Coster promoted to Associate Professor

We are delighted to share the news that Adelle Coster has been promoted to Associate Professor.

Associate Professor Coster joined the School of Mathematics and Statistics in 2003 as a Lecturer. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to Senior Lecturer.

A/Prof Coster, whose research focuses on the application of mathematics in the areas of biomedicine and biology, has supervised numerous higher degree and Honours students, and has been active within the School in outreach and engagement.

Head of School, Professor Bruce Henry, said that A/Prof Coster's promotion "recognises [her] outstanding achievements in research, teaching, and leadership and engagement".

The promotion will be effective from 1 January, 2017.
