We achieve above world standard rating in ARC Excellence in Research review

We are delighted to announce that UNSW Mathematics and Statistics has achieved a top rating in the recent ARC Excellence in Research review of Australian University Research.

The 2018-2019 review has given UNSW Mathematics and Statistics a top rating of 5 (well above world standard) across the board in each of Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, and Statistics; and overall in Mathematical Sciences. UNSW also received a 5 for Oceanography.
