Reflections from the 2018 School of Mathematics and Statistics Teaching Fellow.

In this reflection about my year as a Teaching Fellow at UNSW, I will explain what I did, what I learned, and what the challenges have been. It has been suggested to me to also include a few words about what I think UNSW could do better, so that is on the menu too. Of course, the way I see things is heavily biased by the fact that I learned maths in France (Some people on the 5th floor have a theory that every French person has a little Bourbaki inside them). I am also influenced by my previous teaching experiences:  I have taught at French high schools (in France, in Senegal, and in Madagascar), at an American University, and at an Australian high school (by far the most exotic of all these experiences!).

So if you are wondering what a Teaching Fellow could possibly do, or if you want an outsider's impressions of UNSW, or if you are bored to death on a Friday afternoon, see you on 19/10!
