Is online teaching always better? A reflection on a light Digital Uplift of MATH3411

The popular course MATH3411 Information, Codes, and Ciphers was this previous term given a light Digital Uplift. In this talk, I will describe what this actually means, what the processes were, and what the outcomes were (and are). I will also reflect on when and whether "digital" means "uplifting", based on the statistical and subjective outcomes of this particular Uplift. My tentative conclusions might possibly surprise you in subtle ways as they did me.
